Fashion Week launches during Winterfest Boat Show

FORT LAUDERDALE — The inaugural Fort Lauderdale Fashion Week is a two-day fashion soirée built around luxury, glamour, and the essence of the Fort Lauderdale resort lifestyle.

Fort Lauderdale Fashion Week presented by Ferrari Maserati-Fort Lauderdale and sponsored by The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale will take place Oct. 29-30 at the W. Fort Lauderdale Hotel.

FFW will give locals and boat show attendees an event showcasing high-end eveningwear and resort wear collections. Fort Lauderdale Fashion Week’s VIP Runway Reception showcasing eveningwear will be held Friday, October 29 at 8 p.m.

The VIP Runway Reception will feature headliner Carolina Herrera, Aifl alumni designers Rosita Hurtado & Eduardo de las Casas, Orlando based designer Paul Raymond, and Elie Tahari.

Tickets for opening night are $50 per person in advance and $60 at the door.

FFW’s Luncheon Runway Event will take place Saturday, October 30, at 1 p.m. Tickets are $75 per person and $100 at the door. A portion of the proceeds benefits The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale’s EDMC Scholarship Foundation and the charity American Friends of Magen David Adam (AFMDA).
