Animal Care & Control hosts “Meet & Greet” for dogs rescued in Delray

WEST PALM BEACH — Palm Beach County Animal Care and Control (AC&C) will host a “Meet-and-Greet” Thursday, Sept. 9 from 4 to 6 p.m., for the six dogs rescued from deplorable living conditions in a Delray Beach home a couple of weeks ago.

The “Delray Six,” as they are now being called, have gained weight, are doing well, and are learning to love life again.   AC&C is offering an opportunity for those interested in rescuing one of the six to visit the shelter.  Chloe, Pepsi, Sunny, Bella, Lucy and Chopper are each in need of a loving home where they will be treated as part of the family.

AC&C is located at 7100 Belvedere Road in West Palm Beach (just west of the Florida Turnpike).  All applicants for adoption will be screened for approval.

For more information about the “Delray Six,” visit www.pbcgov.com/animal, or contact Elizabeth Harfmann at 561-233-1222 or e-mail pbcacc@pbcgov.org.
