St. Andrews Estates South in Boca Celebrates 30 Years of Helping Seniors Stay Active Pioneer Residents Countess de Hoernle & Vera Rowland to be Honored
BOCA RATON– St. Andrews Estates South, an ACTS Retirement-Life Community inBoca Raton, will celebrate its 30th anniversary on September 28 from 4:30 – 6 pm. A host of local dignitaries, including two pioneer residents who moved in 30 years ago and “still love it” Vera Rowland and Countess Henrietta de Hoernle will be honored.
A proclamation from Mayor Susan Whelchel praising the community for its innovations in helping seniors live full and satisfying lives, and for its reputation of giving back to the greater community through employment opportunities, charitable donations, sponsorships, volunteerism, and scholarship aid for college-bound students will be presented.
St. Andrews Estates South is a not-for-profit continuing care retirement community (CCRC) located at 6045 Verde Trail South, on a 60-acre campus that offers multiple residential styles, services and levels of health care. St. Andrews Estates is among only a small percentage of CCRCs nationwide that has received the senior industry’s seal of excellence for meeting high standards in finances, administration, and resident services. One of the most unique aspects about St. Andrews Estates is its Type A life care contract, which prepays any future health care costs a resident may need. For many, Type A life care provides for a 30-40% tax deduction off monthly and entrance fees.
Professional groups, especially those of interest to older adults, are encouraged to call the community for opportunities to host meetings and social events. Contact Susan George at 561.487.6200 for more information or visit www.ACTSstandrewssouth.org
