BOCA RATON— The Battle of Florida is more than just a football game. Kicking off on Sunday, Jan. 15, it’s a week’s worth of events done South Florida style!
Included in the line up of events will be a concert by multi-platinum album sellers the Gin Blossoms, courtesy of SeaSide Music Management and Technical Productions. The Gin Blossoms will perform at Mizner Park Amphitheater in Boca Raton at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 20, and will be joined by special guests.
Known for mega hits including “Hey Jealousy,” “Found Out About You, “Til I Hear It From You,” and “Allison Road,” the Gin Blossoms are still one of the top pop rock, post-grunge bands topping the charts today. Don’t miss this opportunity to hear all the Gin Blossom’s hits, plus a preview of new songs from their latest CD releasing in the Summer of 2012.
Also performing will be American Idol Season 10 Top 24 semifinalist Brett Loewenstern. Brett, a Boca Raton native will be performing his newly released single “Look At Me Now” as well as other widely known tracks.
In addition, concert goers who purchase VIP seating will be treated to a VIP Meet and Greet at 6:00 p.m. with legendary football coaches Bobby Bowden and Howard Schnellenberger, as well as wide receiver Bert Reed from Florida State University, wide receiver Aldarius Johnson from University of Miami, and running back Alfred Morris from Florida Atlantic University, among 100 of the top draft picks in the country and some of NFL’s greats.
VIP ticket holders will also be invited to an after party meet and greet immediately following the concert.
