Hooters of Boca Raton Celebrates 10 Year Anniversary

Boca Raton, FL — Hooters of Boca Raton held their 10-year anniversary celebration on Friday December 6.  The festivities included a 2020 Hooters Calendar tour signing, live music, commemorative t-shirt and the “Decade of Gratitude” award presentation.  Hooters Girl Alumni from the past 10 years that worked at the Boca Raton location also attended the event.

In conjunction with the restaurants 10-year anniversary, Hooters of Boca Raton Managing Partner Chris Torelli presented awards to two members of the Boca Raton community.  The team at Hooters of Boca Raton is proud to award both Troy McLellan and Brett Lea with the “Decade of Gratitude” award.

McLellan is the President and CEO of the Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce.  He has worked with the Hooters of Boca Raton on numerous events including the Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce Luncheon and Auction and frequently hosts networking events at the store.  McLellan has been with the Boca Raton Chamber of Chamber for 21 years.

Lea is a retired Battalion Chief for the Boca Raton Firefighters and Paramedics Benevolent.  In 2016 he teamed up with Hooters to start the annual Corn Hole tournament to raise funds for the Boca Raton Fire Explorers.  The Boca Raton Fire Recue Explorer Post 315 is a program for youth that are ages 14-21 who are interested in the Fire Service. Lea also started the Boca Burn Charity Softball Tournament that Hooters is a sponsor of.

“We are proud to recognize both Troy and Brett for their unwavering support of the Hooters brand in Boca Raton and for their relentless and active participation in the community,” saidHooters of Boca Raton Managing Partner Chris Torelli.  “We were thrilled with the support of the local community and Hooters Girl Alumni during our 10- year anniversary celebration,” added Torelli.

Guests had the chance to meet Miss Hooters International and 2020 Hooters Calendar cover girl Briana Smith from Sunrise, centerfold Gianna Tulio from Boca Raton, Miss May Angela Porter from Naples, Miss July Alex Libby from Sanford and feature girls Kelsey Wilenius from Cape Coral and Alyssa Duckett from Fort and additional Boca Raton Hooters Calendar Girls during the event.
