School Bus Crash in Palm Beach County Sent 5 Children to the Hospital
On Thursday morning, a school bus got into an accident with a pickup truck in Palm Beach County.
The crash occurred at 8 a.m. East of Clewiston on N. U.S. Highway 27 near Ritta Village Road in west Palm Beach County.
There were 5 children from Lake Shore Middle School in Belle Glade on the bus at the time of the crash.
According to WPTV and the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, the crash resulted in a total of seven individuals sent to the hospital.
One man and several children were transported to the local hospital by helicopter.
According to the school district spokesperson, none of the patients were severely hurt.
