Palm Beach Gardens Public Meeting Tonight Regarding $61 million I-95/Central Boulevard Project

South Florida citizens have recently been aware of the final design plans for the Florida Department of Transportation’s new project regarding I-95.

The Department of Transportation plans to build a diamond interchange at Central Boulevard and Interstate 95 in Palm Beach Gardens. The project estimates a $61 million cost and will span 2.8 miles on I-95 from Military Trail to Donald Ross Road.

They hope this interchange will make it easier for everyone, improving traffic flow at I-95 and PGA Boulevard.

The improvements will result in a wider Central Boulevard bridge with two new 11-foot-wide through lanes. There will also be a 7-foot-wide buffered bike lane and a 10-foot-wide sidewalk in each direction.

Construction is set to begin in 2025 and be completed by 2028.

According to WPTV, the public is free to attend tonights meeting to find out more about their plans with this project.
