Aye Aye, Captain Dan, eight ball in starboard pocket on first pool table aboard Winterfest Boat Parade

You’ve no doubt heard of a floating crap game.  Well get ready for the first floating pool table during this year’s Winterfest Boat Parade.

Thanks to The North Miami Police Athletic League (PAL) co- sponsoring Billiards by Brandt’s entry into this year’s Winterfest boat parade, you’ll be seeing one float by onboard one of the featured, lavishly-decorated boats.

The North Miami PAL and Dan Brandt are no strangers.

Brandt was able to arrange donation of a pool table by the Miami Heat to PAL.  As if that weren’t enough, Billiards by Brandt donated an additional table for teaching young people at PAL at their billiard academy how to play Brandt’s favorite games of pool. They use the best pool cues for beginners which are not high-deflection.

Installing one of Brandt’s high-end pool tables for some eight ball at sea is no easy task.  A Pool Table delivery services needs to haul it in. Then, one end needs to be perfectly flat and the other level within 2000th to 3000th of an inch.  But for Brandt who built the first pool table on wheels as a masterpiece of art with extraordinary functionality, this will be a piece of ethereal flat cake.

Billiards by Brandt is the world’s most prestigious custom pool table maker whose extraordinary tables grace some of the most prestigious properties worldwide.

Brandt is part Renaissance man, philanthropist and a crafty pool shark. Along with building some of the most amazing custom pool tables, Dan’s foremost goal is to make the world a better place by bringing together people of all socio-economic backgrounds to play a good-natured game of a pool.

Dan Brandt’s originality as an artist and master craftsman is the go-to-guy when rock stars, athletes and luxury hotels want that perfect toy for their celebrity guests – a one of a kind custom-designed pool table.

When The Rolling Stones were in town, Brandt installed a snooker table backstage so they could play before the show. His masterpieces have also been commissioned by Al Gore, Pat Riley of the Miami Heat, The Fountainebleau Miami Beach, Delano South Beach and HBO’s “Ballers” TV series.

Now Capt. Dan is about to set sail Dec. 14 in Fort Lauderdale.

So rack ‘em up for the “Greatest Show on H2O,” The Seminole Hard Rock Winterfest Boat Parade, the traditional kickoff to the South Florida Holiday Season.

Each year it brings together the Broward community and visitors from around the world for a one-of-a-kind parade of beautifully decorated boats of all sizes, including this time one sporting an official Billiards by Brandt pool table.

Now don’t scratch and miss it.
