Gold Coast Down Syndrome Organization 25th Annual Walk for Down Syndrome

Date and Time:  Sunday October 13th, 2018 8:00 a.m.-noon. Check–in is at 8:00 a.m.; opening ceremony at 8:45 a.m./ walk start at 9:15 a.m.; all activities open 8:00 a.m.-noon.

$20.00 Early Registration; participants may register day of the walk for $25.00. Fee includes a t-shirt, walk, continental breakfast, and multiple activities for children.  Hot dogs, drinks and additional food will be available for a small donation with 100% of the proceeds benefiting Gold Coast.

Description:  The Walk is a Family Fun Event which includes a one-mile walk, free breakfast, bounce houses, petting zoo, pony rides, young children’s games, face painting, dunk tank, live entertainment, dj and dancing and a raffle and silent auction. The event raises funds for the Gold Coast Down Syndrome’s educational, social and advocacy programs (serving all of Palm Beach County) and promotes awareness of the capabilities and talents of persons with Down syndrome.  The DownRight ExtraOrdinary Walk attracts 2000 people and in 2018 and supports most of the programming for the Gold Coast Down Syndrome Organization.
