South Florida Will Be Seeing a Rainy Start to the Week

Due to two air masses, drifting south from Lake Okeechobee and north from the Florida Keys, South Florida is expected to see an influx of rain showers up until at least Wednesday.

South Florida can expect 2 to 4 inches of rain today through around Wednesday.

The National Weather Center says this activity is capable of causing torrential rainfall and training storms with some possible flooding.

Winds on Tuesday could reach 24 mph, presenting a hazardously high level. There will also be high risks of rip currents at local South Florida beaches.

According to Sun Sentinel, the rain could continue up until Thursday, clearing up this weekend with a 30% chance of rain on Friday.
