A New System Has Formed and is Predicted to Move Towards Florida

With hurricane season nearing its end, the National Weather Center has identified a new low pressure system with an 80% chance of development.

The system was tracked in the Gulf of Mexico, bringing heavy rainfall as it is predicted to move towards Florida’s Gulf Coast later this week.

According to Sun Sentinel, the storm could impact the Florida Panhandle with severe weather.

Hurricane specialists predict the system to form into a subtropical or tropical storm by later today as it continues along Western Gulf of Mexico.

The next named storm will be Nestor and it is possible that with further development, it will be this current low pressure system.
