Meeting in Jupiter to Discuss Virgin Trains USA Expansion to Orlando
We have been hearing a great deal of new proposals in Florida as the new year approaches, one of which is the expansion of the Virgin Trains USA.
The Virgin Trains, formerly known as Brightline, currently runs from Miami to West Palm Beach.
The train is looking to expand these services up to Orlando International Airport by 2022.
Today, on Monday the 14th, citizens are invited to join the discussion among representatives in learning more about the expansion project.
The attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and view the current preliminary plans consisting of:
•Modifications to tracks and intersections
•Reconstruction plans for the Loxahatchee River Bridge
•Safety enhancements along the corridor
•Potential new station locations
•Quiet zone implementation
The meeting will be held today from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Jupiter Community Center on 200 Military Trail.
