Rapper Kodak Black to Plead Guilty in Federal Weapons Case in South Florida

As of today, Kodak Black is expected to add to his long list of convictions by pleading guilty to federal weapons charges. The hearing will take place on Thursday in Miami federal court.

According to Sun Sentinel, months after Kodak’s plea of innocence, prosecutors charged the 21-year-old rapper in May.

His crimes include falsifying information on federal forms in order to purchase three firearms.

One of the weapons Kodak purchased was even found at the scene of a South Florida shooting, states Prosecutor.

Due to Kodak’s extensive criminal record, a federal judge denied his request for bond and referred to Kodak as “a danger”.

The rapper could possibly face up to eight years in prison and has recently remained in a federal detention center in Miami since his arrest.

Kodak Black also faces several drug, weapons and assault charges in other states.
