Dog Beach at Spanish River Park

Spanish River Park is a local treasure surrounded by furry-friends enjoying all that South Florida has to offer, the beach! During regular hours, Spanish River Park is a regular beach with cookout grille’s and tables. However, from the hours of 7am to 9am and 3pm to sunset, dogs are free to roam. In order to bring your dog to Spanish River park you must acquire a Boca residence permit. Spanish River Park also demonstrates initiative for a pet’s safety by requiring proof of vaccinations for every animal attending the beach. With a calm state of mind, you are free to enjoy your dog’s company without worrying about horrible diseases they can catch. The dog beach is a great way for your pup to cool-off in the midst of an intense play-time. It is truly a great sight to behold for big and small dogs alike. From fetching Frisbee’s in the water to playing tug-of-war in the sand. And remember, a messy dog is a happy dog!

Mizner Bark Dog Park

Mizner Bark is an outstanding local dog park that is also included in the permit for the Spanish River Park dog beach. The fenced areas do a great job separating each dog by weight group, while also still allowing them to interact safely through the fence. Small dogs love running the fence challenging larger dogs, while also having that safety barrier. It is a well maintained, clean, and friendly park. The pathways and seating makes it convenient for owners to enjoy. Whereas, endless “poop-bags” and water fountains make it convenient for the pet to enjoy.
