As Hurricane Dorian Intensifies, Know Your Local Shelter and Evacuation Zones

We have seen Tropical Storm Dorian recently develop into a hurricane and according to recent updates, Dorian is only getting stronger.

Hurricane Dorian can currently be tracked at the western Atlantic Ocean and will be posing a threat to the Bahamas and Southeastern U.S. over the weekend.

New updates from the Weather Channel as of this morning, depict Hurricane Dorian’s ability to form into a Category 4.

Dorian’s center is currently 220 miles north-northwest of San Juan with winds at 85 mph.

As of right now, Dorian is predicted to make landfall on the east coast of Florida on Sunday night moving into Monday morning.

Florida resident’s are urged to make hurricane plans and preparations.

Governor, Ron DeSantis, declared a state of emergency yesterday in order to ensure officials and emergency agencies have the allocated time to make preparations.
