Car Crashes into Brightline Train in Pompano Beach

On Sunday morning, August 25, a car collided into a Brightline train resulting in one death.

The Broward County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the fatal crash that was reported to have occurred around 11:27 a.m.

The collision happened near the intersection of NE 33rd Street and N. Dixie Highway.

The driver of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene and no other injuries were reported.
