Olympus Charter School Open House.

Focusing on high-performance athletics, Olympus International Academy offers a full scholarship to eligible student-athletes in soccer, tennis, and golf. These extracurricular activities will be part of the school’s afterschool program, where the school has partnered with professionals in the market to bring a high-performance athletic program to the school.

Born from the idea of globalized education, Olympus International Academy will incorporate Hebrew, and Portuguese as second language options for students.

“Vamos Falar Português requested the School District approval in 2016 for this charter school,” said Cristiane Martins, the president of the Vamos Falar Português [Let’s Speak Portuguese]. “It was a very rigorous and difficult process and we received the authorization last years.”

The school, which took almost a year to find its ideal location in Boca Raton, will finally open its doors this August. The school will also be hosting an open house to parents who are interested in enrolling their children on June 9, 16, and 29 from 1-3pm. Members who were critical to the success of this project will be present for parents and even members of the community to answer any questions they may have during the open house.
