Tickets Go On Public Sale on Friday, June 21 at 10 am

Boca Raton, FL – The Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts today announced eight amazing concerts and shows that will be presented during the upcoming 2019-2020 season.

Tickets for these shows go on sale to donors today at 10 am, and to the general public on Friday, June 21 at 10 am.

October 12 at 7:30 pm & 10 pm (Saturday)

BélO

(PEAK) 

Performing a sublime mixture of jazz, rock, reggae and Afro-Haitian traditional rhythms, singer, songwriter BélO is hailed as Haiti’s music ambassador to the world. With five albums under his belt and numerous awards, he’s established himself as a Haitian-International artist—earning admiration from audiences in Germany, France, Rome, London, Canada and the United States. Experience his unique sound and socially-conscious compositions aimed at creating awareness for his country.

Rennie Harris brings his troupe of dancers to challenge the hip hop puritans of the world with a groundbreaking program that serves as a reminder that without individuality, creativity and innovation, hip hop will not evolve as an art form. The performance, complete with awe-inspiring acrobatics will astound the audience.

Complexions Contemporary Ballet

Star Dust from Bach to David Bowie

Combining technical precision, power and passion, Complexions Contemporary Ballet transcends tradition in a groundbreaking mix of styles ranging from ballet to hip hop. Founded by former members of Alvin Ailey, Desmond Richardson and Dwight Rhoden, the company has been featured several times on the hit show So You Think You Can Dancethis season the company brings an exhilarating program set to music from Bach to David Bowie to the Kravis Center. Star Dust is an “utterly transfixing” tribute to the life and music of David Bowie, full of glitter and glam.

The Simon & Garfunkel Story

Discover the story behind one of the most successful folk-rock duos of all time in this immersive concert-style theater show that chronicles the amazing journey shared by the folk-rock duo, Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel. It tells the story from their humble beginnings as Tom & Jerry, to their incredible success as one of the best-selling music groups of the ‘60s, to their dramatic split in 1970. This amazing performance includes projection photos and original film footage as well as a live band performing all of their hits, including Mrs. RobinsonCeciliaBridge Over Troubled WaterHomeward Bound and many more.

Healing the Heart of American Healthcare

A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum

Light, fast-paced, witty, irreverent, and completely politically incorrect, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum is one of the funniest musicals ever written. Pseudolus, a crafty slave, struggles to win the hand of a beautiful, but slow-witted, courtesan named Philia for his young master, Hero, in exchange for freedom. The plot twists and turns with cases of mistaken identity, slamming doors, and a showgirl or two.

Salute to Vienna

Waltz into the new year with this spectacular celebration of song and dance that recreates the elegant charm of Vienna’s Golden Age and beyond. A West Palm Beach tradition for over 24 years, the concert includes acclaimed European singers, ballroom and ballet dancers, and a live symphony orchestra.
