The Governor’s Baseball Dinner, a celebration of a new season of Major League Baseball Spring Training in Florida, made its second stop in Palm Beach County in the last five years when the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts hosted the annual event.

With two stadiums and four teams in Palm Beach County, the area has become a prime spring training destination.

MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred attended along with representatives from many of the 15 teams who annually train in Florida, along with a number of baseball greats.

The 2019 Major League Baseball Spring Training schedule is now available and the first game of the 2019 season will be played on Friday, February 22 as the Tampa Bay Rays host the Philadelphia Phillies at the Charlotte Sports Park.

The Florida Grapefruit League has called Florida home for over 125 years.

Each Spring, 15 MLB teams venture south from the cold up north to soak up the Florida sunshine and prepare for the season ahead.

Congratulations to David Dweck as he marks 25 years hosting the Boca Real Estate Investment Club or “BRIC” for short (not to be confused with the Boca Raton Innovation Campus – – formerly home to IBM).

Much has occurred over the past 25 years but the number of loyal members and friends made it clear that David has earned the respect of a cross section of our real estate investment community.
