Student Volunteer to Hand Out Gifts to Cancer Patients

WHAT: Boca Raton Regional Hospital student volunteer, Alaina Tillman, will distribute holiday gifts to patients of the Eugene M. and Christine E. Lynn Cancer Institute collected through her Operation Care Program initiative.

The Operation Care Program collects holiday gift bundles from the community consisting of blankets, fuzzy socks, lip balm and a variety of other self-care/treatment items. In its 2nd year, the program plans to collect enough gifts to package and distribute over 150 holiday gift bundles.

Recipients of the bundles are patients undergoing various cancer treatments at the Lynn Cancer Institute.
