Junior Board of Young Professionals is hosting a Holiday Themed Charity Event, Delray Beach * December 7, 2018 * BENEFIT PBC Police Athletic League

Boca Raton, FL – About PAL: Our mission at PAL is to build partnerships between youth, law enforcement, and the community through recreational and educational programs designed to encourage, enhance and develop good citizenship and improve the quality of life in Palm Beach County.

About Palm Beach County PAL Jr. Board:

The Palm Beach County PAL Junior Board is made up of a group of young professionals that are passionate about their community and strong advocates of the Palm Beach County PAL program. Danielle Rosenberg, Board of Directors, Founder and President of the Jr. Board states “As a young professional myself, I realized that there’s a desire for individuals my age, wanting to be involved with the community. I created a platform that would not only challenge us to do more, but allow us to both engage with the children of the program and raise money to support this amazing cause”.

Starting in 2016, these young professionals made a commitment to their Junior Board, and as a team, have continuously created fun and exciting events to celebrate PAL and raise money for their youth programs. Since their inception, the PAL Junior Board has raised close to $30,000. Anne Marie, Vice President of the Jr. Board, states “Growing up, my father was in law enforcement and volunteered with PAL for a number of years. To see our men and women in uniform, who not only protect and serve our communities every day, but volunteer their time to connect and build relationships with the youth in our community, it’s something truly special to see and experience. As soon as I found out about the opportunity to serve on the Junior Board, to really help raise more awareness for this amazing program, I knew I had to be a part of it.”

The Junior Board will be hosting a PAL Ugly Sweater Party on December 7, 2018 at Honey in Delray from 7 pm – 10 pm. They have already received a very generous $12,500 donation from The Gellman Family Foundation. Tickets for the event, are $25 and include drinks, light bites, ugliest sweater contest and a silent auction. Attendees will have the chance to network with local professionals and PAL Board Members, all while giving back to an amazing cause!
