With Hurricane Michael heading toward Florida’s Gulf Coast bringing intense rain and thunderstorms anticipated in South Florida, decision has been made to reschedule the outdoor Cheribundi Tart Cherry Boca Raton Bowl’s Built Ford Tough Tailgate Party at Palm Beach Outlets Mall to October 25 at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are available for $25 at www.spiritofgivingnetwork.com.

As planned for this week, the college football fan-loving evening sponsored by South Florida Ford will be serving up plenty of tailgate-inspired tastings by restaurant and hotel chefs and mixologists and meet-and-greet opportunities with ESPN on-air personalities who will be on site and broadcasting live. The evening benefits Spirit of Giving’s and its annual year-end holiday gift drive that benefits more than 4,000 in Palm Beach County.

Held in countdown to Cheribundi Boca Raton Bowl, this pride-rallying fundraising event offers up a casual, laid-back networking evening.  Guests are encouraged to come out wearing their alma mater or favorite college team’s colors and jerseys to mix-and-mingle with fellow college football fans and community partners.

As one of the lead-in events for the Fifth Annual Cheribundi Boca Raton Bowl, the chefs enjoy a friendly competition on tailgate classics ranging from sides and entrees to beverages and desserts.  Guests get to cast their own votes for the “People’s Choice” designation.

Chefs on the roster hail from*:

  • Bloomer’s Frose
  • Bolay
