Boca Raton, FL – Friends of Food For The Poor can shop for Kendra Scott’s new line and provide hope for families in Haiti at a special Sip and Shop event on Wednesday, Aug. 8.

The evening will include light appetizers and cocktails, starting at 5 p.m. at Kendra Scott’s Mizner Park store, 411 Plaza Real, Boca Raton.

Giving back is a major part of how Kendra Scott does business. When she launched her namesake jewelry business in 2002, her stepfather’s deathbed wish resonated in her mind: “You do good.”

The store will donate 20 percent all purchases during the evening to Food For The Poor. Shoppers who cannot attend can make purchases by phone. Customers can call 561-430-2520 from 5 to 8 p.m.Wednesday and mention FFP.

The Ship and Shop will build excitement for Food For The Poor’s 24th annual Building Hope Gala which will be Saturday, Feb. 2, 2019, at the Boca Raton Resort & Club, 501 E. Camino Real, Boca Raton.
