El-Ad National Properties, LLC Forges Charitable, Environment-Minded Partnership With Habitat For Humanity Of South Palm Beach County

El-Ad National Properties, LLC (El-Ad) initiated a partnership with Habitat for Humanity of South Palm Beach County (HFHSPBC) to serve as a trailblazing model for commercial developers that yields a tri-fold of benefits: charitable giving, community enrichment and environmental sustainability.

Recognizing HFHSPBC as the complete one-stop “go to” resource when seeking to turn reusable assets into charitable dollars that are then infused back into the community,
El-Ad has chosen to donate all repurpose-worthy items from its Mizner on the Green rental units in countdown to its planned demolition. The large-scale, multi-unit harvesting will include removal of cabinets, refrigerators, dishwashers, washers, dryers, lighting fixtures, air conditioner handlers, garage doors and operating systems, etc. The new and gently used items will be re-sold in the nonprofit’s ReStores while others will be recycled to reduce demolition impact on landfills in Palm Beach County.

“As we transform our Downtown Boca Raton rental property into new luxury condominium residences, we are pleased to also help transform lives of deserving families in the community who seek affordable homeownership through Habitat’s Fund for Humanity,” said El-Ad
National Properties Executive Director of Development Noam Ziv. “Because we share
Habitat’s dedication to sustainability, we know that this alliance will be environmentally
friendly as well. Our entire team is excited about being part of this win, win initiative.”

According to HFHSPBC President & CEO Randy Nobles, the strategic private-public partnership will have an indelible impact on new Habitat Partner Family homeowners and neighborhoods in desperate need of revitalization.

“Primarily this initiative will fund the construction of safe, decent and affordable homes for hard-working families in our community who are unable to qualify for traditional bank mortgages,” Nobles reports. “Through generosity of community advocates as El-Ad, we at Habitat are able to give a ‘hand-up, not a hand-out’ to help break poverty cycles that change the trajectory of entire families for generations.  Because Habitat homeowners are the first in their family line to both achieve homeownership, they are in a position to contribute back to their community.”
