VIDEO: Three-Vehicle Crash Closes Palmetto Park Road

Westbound Palmetto Park road remains closed after seven people were taken to Delray Medical Center after a serious three-vehicle crash that occurred earlier this morning on the 1200 block of West Palmetto Park Road, east of Interstate 95 near the Palmetto Park Square shopping plaza.

According to the police spokeswoman, five people were involved in an armed robbery on the 900 block of North Federal Highway, south of Glades Road. As the robbery suspects fled the scene, they made their way westbound on Palmetto Park road and caused a three-vehicle crash, according to Boca Raton Police.

With Palmetto Park road closed most of the day, drivers are encouraged to find alternate routes in order to prevent further congestion.
