AFWC hosts “Wine After Hours” — Tuesday, July 10 at Max’s Grille in Boca

The American Fine Wine Competition (AFWC) is hosting its best “Wine After Hours” of the year on Tuesday, July 10 at Max’s Grille in Boca Raton. Don’t miss this great chance to socialize, network among like-minded food & wine lovers, while savoring a large sampling of outstanding wines and great food in a casual setting – and also benefit a worthy cause!
The American Fine Wine Competition is the largest and most prestigious All-American wine invitational in the country, with literally thousands of wines, months of judging, and a full year of preparation and planning, all cumulating in the annual Gala awards dinner in April each year.
As part of the celebration, the AFWC hosts monthly events, including its popular Wine After Hours networking get-togethers — and this one at Max’s Grille promises to be the best After Hours of the year! Enjoy unlimited tastings from over 50 award-winning wines, along with specially prepared by-the-bite treats from Max’s Grille Executive Chef. The Chef will present enticing hors d’oeuvres to pair perfectly with the wine, including:
* Warm Pistachio Crusted Goat Cheese, Cranberry Mostarda
* Mini Crab Cakes, Lemon Caper Remoulade, Chives
* Ahi Tuna Poke, Wonton Chips, Red Chili Aioli
* Mini Meatballs, Whipped Ricotta Pesto, Ciabatta Points
* Crispy Polenta Bites, Sun Dried Tomato Pesto
* Fig Jam & Manchego Bruschetta, Roasted Grape Salsa
* Then conclude with some amazing Fudge from A Flair for Fudge paired with dessert wines.

The AFWC Wine After Hours takes place Tuesday, July 10th from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Max’s Grille in Mizner Park, Boca Raton. Admission is only $35, and includes unlimited samplings of all foods and wine. Proceeds go to benefit FAU’s CARD program.
