How to use your Mac to its Fullest Potential

If you own a Mac computer, you must have your reasons. You are more likely to be a creative or a developer than gamer, for instance. Whatever the purpose, however, you can be sure that Mac is capable of accommodating you, if you take some time to set it up to meet your specific requirements.

If you are switching to Mac from a PC – do not worry. The ecosystem is different, but it is user-centric, much more inviting and forgiving than you can imaging. You will feel like fish in the water in no time.

There are, of course, general recommendations. First of all, to save you time on maintenance, you can use an app like MacFly Pro. This solution takes care of the junk files, gives you control over RAM usage and prompts you to clean the disk if the space becomes scarce.

Now, Macs are famous for being ready to use out-of-box. However, if you want your Mac for more than photo and video editing and music rendering, you will have to look more carefully at some of these apps. These preinstalled software packs are robust enough to power your business.

GarageBand enables you to make your own music. More importantly, with it you can make your own podcast or sound file to integrate it later into iMovie.

iMovie enables you to make a video of everything –  from how to build a storage shed, to an item/benefit testimonial of your business.

Photos is relatively new member in the iLife family. Previously there was an iPhoto app, but it has been replaced by a more contemporary version. Photos gives you everything that iPhoto did and even more. Thanks to iCloud synchronization, you can access you images from everywhere, manage them assembling the collections and even do editing from your computer or your phone. If you use Luminar AI and other tools to bring out the best photos, why not keep them safe and organized? And if you are looking for a clipping path company, Zenith Clipping is highly recommended.

iWeb is there to power you own website. You can build fully customized webpage portraying your organization from scratch.

Pages is a powerful word processor that is seamlessly synchronized with its mobile version, so you can continue editing on your iPhone. Have a great idea for your new flyers or handouts for potential customers? Implement it on the go. If you forget your password, you can unlock iphone free with this tool.

Numbers is a spreadsheet app that allows creating beautiful tables across all the platforms (Mac, iPad, iOS, and even Windows). It is useful for both accounting and marketing. How? Just try laying out testimonials from customers or new discount system in it.

Keynote is another cross-platform marvel that works even with PC. Make a presentation of your company or service and put in on your webpage for customers to download.

Address Book is a nice one to start you contact management, yet the more you track the sooner you’ll need a bigger, more versatile application.

iCal can deal with easy schedules, to-do lists and some errands to get done. However, there are more complex task managers out there available for Macs.

If there are no Mac solutions that you like, you can always run Windows under Apple’s Boot Camp or virtualization software such as Parallels or Fusion. However, I doubt that you will ever need to use those, as App Store is brimming with new apps every day.
