Boca Raton FC Coaching Staff Looking for Talent in 2018 Open Tryout

BOCA RATON, FL – Boca Raton Football Club is looking for local and international talent to add to its 2018 rosters.

The club will be looking for players age 18 and over to fill rosters for their APSL, and NPSL squad for the 2018 season.

The open tryouts will be held at Cypress Park (1301 Coral Springs Dr, Coral Springs, FL 33071) on January 27, check-in will be at 8:30 a.m.

Boca Raton FC’s head coach, Jim Rooney, as well as his staff of coaches, will be on hand to look at each player and run the tryout.

“As the new coach I will be looking at everyone and anyone as my staff and I begin preparations for the 2018 season,” said Rooney. “From what I saw, we had a talented group last season but maybe there are players whom have slipped through the cracks and the club has not yet seen that could be useful in not only our APSL team but also our NPSL club that will begin pre-season preparations soon.”

The tryout date at Cypress Park (1301 Coral Springs Dr, Coral Springs, FL 33071), is January 27 at 9:00 am, with check-in at 8:30 a.m.

Players who try out for Boca Raton FC have the opportunity to play in three different leagues, as well as play in high-caliber friendlies such as the ones the club has played in the past versus the New York Cosmos, FC Shakhtar Donetsk, Jamaican National Team, and São Paulo.

Players who play in the NPSL team will also have the opportunity to play in the NPSL Showcase in 2018 where hundreds of European and MLS scouts come out to see the best NPSL has to offer.

If selected as a member of Boca Raton FC, players will have photos, and videos of their games which will help boost their resume, as well as being overseen by Boca Raton FC’s medical staff year-round.

Male hopefuls, aged 18 and over, interested in attending the Open Tryout must pre-register and can do so by heading over to http://bit.ly/2qiHmtI.
