Boca Raton Bowl Announces 2017 Great Chefs Tailgate Showcase Breweries and Judges

New Venue – Renaissance Boca Hotel – Accommodates
More Chef Stations and More Spirit of Giving Supporters

This year’s chefs roster for the Boca Raton Bowl Great Chefs Tailgate Showcase & College Football Spirit Night brings more culinary diversity, stations and “fan-fare” to the Bowl’s third annual lead-in event on Thursday, Nov. 9 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Renaissance Boca Raton Hotel, 2000 N.W. 19th St., Boca Raton, Fla.  The Renaissance Hotel offers expansive indoor ballroom and outdoor patio opportunity to present and taste the best of tailgate fare served up from a diverse roster of the area’s popular restaurant, country club, hotel, catering and celebrity chefs and brewmasters.

Serving annually as a fan-filled wave of Palm Beach County pride for the County’s own NCAA-sanctioned college football bowl game, the casual “game on” networking and pride-rallying event includes plenty of college football camaraderie. Guests are encouraged to come out wearing their own alma mater colors and jerseys, team up for tailgate gaming, mingle with ESPN on-air personalities and cast their own “People’s Choice” votes for their favorite chef, brew and cocktail entries. According to event organizers, 100% of ticket sales and winning silent auction bids benefit the Boca Raton Bowl’s charity partner Spirit of Giving, the Renaissance Boca Raton Hotel increases the number of chefs, fans and funds to be raised.

Participating in the open-to-the-public event benefits Spirit of Giving’s annual holiday gift drive that revs up the year-end magic for thousands of children, the chefs from the following list* will be spending the next few weeks “heating up” their culinary creativity to put a “new spin” on tailgate classics.

“We can’t wait to see what this year’s chefs cook up and breweries serve up!” noted Doug Mosley, executive director of the Boca Raton Bowl set to kick-off at FAU Stadium on Tuesday, Nov.19 at 7 p.m. “We look forward to the most attended, most spirited showcase night yet to benefit our charity partner Spirit of Giving. The event is perfectly timed for both raising awareness of the Boca Raton Bowl and much-needed funds for our charity partner’s annual holiday gift drive.”

Mosley adds that each year the Bowl’s Great Chefs Tailgate Showcase night offers residents and businesses an ideal way to recruit their family, friends, colleagues, employees and clients to raise awareness of the Boca Raton Bowl and buy game day tickets “as ESPN sheds a nationally televised spotlight on what has been dubbed “Boca’s Biggest Annual Outdoor Party”.
