McDelivery Now Available in Boca Raton

By: Michael Demyan

OverheadOutsideBoca Raton customers who are craving a Big Mac or some fries but don’t want to leave the comfort of their home no longer have to worry. McDonalds can now be delivered with the simple touch of a button through UberEATS. Not just UberEats, but other delivery partners also, which you can check out on https://www.ondemandly.com/doordash-vs-grubhub/.

To have the food delivered, users will need to download the UberEATS app and log in with their Uber account. From there, they can select almost anything on the McDonald’s menu to be brought to their doorstep for an extra fee.

The only items that are not available to be delivered are soft serve ice cream cones and orders from the McPick2 menu.

The McDelivery service first started in Miami-Dade and Broward counties earlier this year and now that service will be expanding to seven locations in Boca Raton, along with other select cities across the country.

UberEATS South Florida General Manager J.P. Restrepo is excited about the expansion and believes Boca Raton residents will be as well.

“With UberEATS, you can get the food you want, where you want it, delivered at Uber speed,” he said. “We’re thrilled to partner with McDonald’s to give fans easy access to their McDonald’s favorites. People in Boca Raton search the UberEATS app often, so we’re excited to expand our reach and deliver what they’ve been craving.”

McDelivery’s expansion to Boca Raton continues the fast food chain’s push for convenience in the city. The McDonald’s in the Fifth Avenue Shoppes Plaza recently added touch screen kiosks inside the restaurant to improve wait times. Customers are able to customize their order at the self-serve kiosk and have their food delivered to their table.

McDonald’s will not be stopping there, as they are expected to be starting mobile order for pick up by the end of the year.

Until then, those in Boca Raton will be able to take advantage of the brand new McDelivery service, which Boca Raton McDonald’s owner Brent Upchurch thinks is a great way to keep his customers happy.

“We are excited to bring a new level of convenience and personal service to our customers in Boca Raton with UberEATS,” he said. “McDelivery on UberEATS is a win-win for our customers. Whether they are home, the office, or somewhere in between, McDelivery provides McDonald’s fans more ways to enjoy their favorite menu items during the day and into the evening and early morning hours.”
