“We’re always looking for opportunities to serve the Boca Raton community, and further the conversation about faith and life,” said Jason Hatley, Lead Pastor of The Journey Church. “And in Boca Raton, where so many successful families and business leaders call home, we are thrilled to host Wayne Jr. as he shares his story of finding happiness and success beyond the boardroom.”

After watching his father grow Waste Management into a Fortune 500 company, Wayne Jr. went to work for him in a new start-up venture called Blockbuster Video, where he found business success and began living the life he had always dreamed of – a life of luxury and power, including owning three professional sports team.

Wayne Jr. says, “That was my life; an incredible banquet of all the things that the world had to offer, but never getting full, never being satisfied… Suddenly, I was lost. Something was missing.”

On Sunday, May 7, Wayne Huizenga Jr. will tell his story of how an unlikely friendship led to a previously unthinkable change in his life, and how his definition of success has changed.
