Wee Dream Ball Aims to Kickoff Fundraising Season
Excitement is in the air as the Florence Fuller Child Development Centers (FFCDC) prepare for their largest annual fundraising event, the Wee Dream Ball, to be held Friday, December 2, 2016 at Boca West Country Club. The Wee Dream Ball has become one of the foremost anticipated philanthropic events of the year. Last year the gala hosted over 370 attendees and raised more than $740,000 for disadvantaged children. FFCDC’s goal is to remain a premier provider of child and family education and support services for low- to moderate-income families living in southern Palm Beach County and northern Broward County, Florida. Board Member Eda Viner noted, “Cliff and I are thrilled serve as Chairs for a second year of an event that positively impacts the lives of so many children in our community. This year’s gala will dazzle and inspire all who attend.” She continues on to say, “We are blessed to have the distinguished community leader, Jan Savarick, as the Honorary Chair.”
Jan, a long-time supporter of Florence Fuller Child Development Centers, was delighted to accept this position. “I believe that providing economically challenged families with opportunities for their children to engage in activities at a young age that begin to “level the playing field” with other children who have significantly more resources is where real change happens. Children ARE our future, and Florence Fuller fills an incredible need in our community. I have been privileged to be a long-time supporter of Florence Fuller, both financially, at events, and through community service projects. I am truly honored to have been selected as this year’s Wee Dream Ball Honorary Chair.”
