Jason Taylor Among Celebrities to Appear At DICK’S Sporting Goods Grand Opening in Boca Raton
DICK’S Sporting Goods will be opening its 36th store in Florida and 672nd store nationwide on Friday, October 28 at Mission Bay Plaza in Boca Raton, FL (20429 South State Road 7).
DICK’S three-day Grand Opening celebration will run through Sunday, October 30. The store will open at 8:00 a.m. Friday and Saturday and 9:00 a.m. Sunday.
On Friday, the first 100 people in line will receive a free Adidas Go-To Performance T-Shirt. Adults who are in line at 7:45 a.m. on Friday will get a chance to open the DICK’S Sporting Goods Gift Locker.
Addictive Fishing host,Blair Wiggins will make an in-store appearance on Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Former defensive end and linebacker Jason Taylor will make an in-store appearance from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday.
Saturday and Sunday giveaways include a free Mystery Gift Card for the first 100 adults in line. Adults who are in line at 7:45 a.m. on Saturday and 8:45 a.m. on Sunday will also get a chance to open the DICK’S Sporting Goods Gift Locker.

The new location will feature Nike and Under Armour shops, athletic and outdoor apparel and the latest gear for team sports, fitness, camping, hunting and fishing. The store will also be one of the first to include a new and improved footwear section designed to offer a broad selection of sports performance and casual footwear. More than 40 in-store services by DICK’S certified PROS in sports and outdoor specialties such as bike, golf and fishing will also be available.
