Ecologist Robert Barron to Speak at Boca Raton Garden Club on November 1.

The Boca Raton Garden Club will hold its monthly meeting on Tuesday, November 1, at 1PM in the Boca Raton Garden Club clubhouse located at 4281 NW 3rd Ave.  Boca Raton.

Photo by Tim StepienRobert Barron, Ecologist from Coastal Dune Management, will present “A Day at the Beach” and will discuss beach erosion and nourishment as well as salt tolerant plants and the importance of these issues.

Established over 60 years ago, the Boca Raton Garden Club’s purpose is to beautify Boca Raton parks and improve the city’s landscape.

The Garden Club has recently began

 

new ventures which include supporting continuing education through monthly General Meeting programs, Horticulture Lectures, Field Trips and Floral Design classes.

Providing service to the community through Garden Therapy, the Community Garden, Conservation, Junior Gardening and Scholarships.

Continuing the beautification tradition through Flower Shows and National Garden Week and by maintaining the magnificent gardens at our clubhouse.
