Masked man claims he has bomb at Boca Raton Bank of America

policecarThe Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a masked man who they said robbed a Bank of America branch over the weekend in unincorporated Boca Raton.

 

The robbery was reported about 11:40 a.m. Saturday at the bank in the 23000 block of State Road 7.

 

Surveillance video shows the man walking into the bank with a bright blue duffel bag with black handles.

 

Deputies said he told employees that he had a bomb and demanded cash.

 

The robber left with an undisclosed amount of money.

 

No injuries were reported.
