Popdust.com said, “Kendra Erika spins a spellbinding web of sensuality and body-confidence with her new single Miami Love – a wind-swept sharpened narrative, the song needles its way through flickering images of high-speed chases and a sense of inescapable danger.  Having grown up in the heat of South Florida, Kendra attributes her dalliances with moody pop and orchestral instruments to her jazz and classical roots, as well as the very climate of south Florida.

Kendra’s new video, “The Truth Never Lies” explores cinema noir and injects a fresh twist on modern feminism. Kendra says, “The Truth Never Lies” is a deep house track that conveys a nostalgic message and evokes feelings of romanticism and lust… which is of course, all part of the excitement of love!”

The Unicorn Children’s Foundation was founded in 1994 by Mark Rosenbloom, MD shortly after his three-year-old son was diagnosed with a severe communication disorder. Up until that time, he had been told by numerous professionals that his son, who was not yet speaking, would “grow out of it.” But he didn’t.

Unicorn Children’s Foundation’s key initiatives include: promoting early identification of symptoms associated with ADHD, autism, bipolar, dyslexia and other learning disorders; developing and disseminating worldwide ground-breaking and extensive evaluation and treatment guidelines; fostering communication and collaboration between parents, professionals and policy makers to promote learning and increased awareness; and to provide adequate tools and resources to better meet the needs of our beneficiaries.

The Founder of the Unicorn Children’s Foundation, Greg Fried says, “Kendra Erika is an inspiring singer who has dedicated her time the Unicorn Children’s Foundation. Most of our patrons are older so Kendra brings a young fresh face to the foundation and we’re lucky to have her.”

Kendra adds, “I’m so happy to give back to my community. It’s what helps keep me going and has inspired me to continue to write songs!” Kendra also gives her time to other charities including: Alzheimers Association, Rotary Club, PROPEL (People Reaching Out to Promote Education & Leadership) Tri-County Humane Society, The American Disabilities Foundation, The Florence Fuller Organization and more. Also, last year, Kendra ran a successful campaign for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s- Woman of the Year event.
