Boca Raton Beach and Park District Election Goes to November Runoff

The Boca Raton Beach and Parks District elections for both seat one and two are going to a runoff in the November elections. Candidates needed 50 percent plus one vote to win the seat or a runoff of the top two would take place.

Voting Booths12,148 votes were cast for the Seat One between Craig Ehrnst, Shayla Enright, and Dennis Frisch. Frisch received 41.78 percent of the votes and his opponent Ehrnst received 35.26 percent of the votes, forcing them into a runoff in the November election. Shayla Enright received 22.96 percent of the votes.

The Seat Three election was even tighter, Erin Wright earned 37.87 percent of the votes, while Earl Starkoff received 37.04 percent. John Costello came in third and received 25.10 percent of the votes. 11.839 residents voted in the election.
