Attention Burger Fans: You’ve been waiting all year for it, and it’s almost here.  The Fifth Annual Boca Burger Battle, A Grilling Affair! returns to Boca Raton this Saturday, July 16, 2016, at Sanborn Square Park in downtown Boca Raton.

Don’t miss this burgerlicious indulgence, and unique opportunity to savor some savory samplings, from signature classics, to unique new creations in the world of Beef Meets Bun. This is your chance to taste the best burgers in town, as the area’s top chefs compete to win the Judge’s pick for the coveted “Best Grill Master” and “Best Alternative Grill Master” Trophies.  And here’s the cool part – you also get to vote for your favorite, as well!  Every attendees gets the chance to cast their own “Best Boca Burger” vote.  And there’s more than just burgers, with a selection of alternative burger options and other (non-burger) dishes, plus Craft Beers and Summer Wines.  The festivities also include Retail Vendors, Live Classic Rock and Blues music by local bands Big City Dogs Band, Voodoo Possum, the highly anticipated Judges’ Awards, and more!

Defending 2015 Champions M.E.A.T. Eatery & Taproom will be defending its title as the Judge’s Pick for “Best Grill Master,” while The New Vegan will vie to hold its status for “Best Alternative Grill Master.” Meanwhile, Boca newcomer (and Deerfield Beach veteran) Tucker Duke’s Lunchbox will likewise be doin’ its thing to maintain its 2015 1st Place award People’s Choice pick as the “Best Boca Burger.”  In addition to the three returning champions, you’ll also get to savor samplings from the likes of  109 Burger Joint, Atlas Meat-Free Delicatessen, Bite Gastrotruck, BRGR STOP, Burt & Max’s, Cabo Flats,  Deck 84, Gilbert’s Rib King BBQ, Morton’s the Steak House, Munchies Snack Shack, Salt 7, Saquella Café, Shake Shack, Zinburger Wine & Burger Bar, and more!

Chef Rey De La Osa, Resident Chef at Publix Aprons Cooking School will serve as the Chief Grill Master and Judge Panel Captain, and will oversee the panel of soon-to-be-stuffed Judges including Jan Norris of JanNorris.com, Alex Callegari (The Firefighter Foodie), Jamie Frankel (Burgers by the Beach & Floridian Beer Society); Rob Adler (Weekend Broward), Boca Raton City Commissioner Robert S. Weinroth, and local radio celeb Danny Rivera from BIG 105.9 FM.

General Admission Tickets are only $50; and include enjoy unlimited food tastings, plus three drink tickets. VIP Tickets are $75 Pre-Sale ($125 at the door). VIP Ticket holders will enjoy one hour extra (early entry starting at 6:00), unlimited food, and unlimited drinks!  The Boca Burger Battle is unquestionably the best burger bash in the area, and continues to grow in popularity and prestige.
