Masked Vigilante Spotted at Glades Park Towers

A witness has told The Boca Raton Tribune that a man in a mask saved her from a possible mugging late last night at around 3 a.m. near Glades Park Towers at Florida Atlantic University.

After hearing her screams, a number of students looked out from the windows and saw the masked man beating up one of the attackers.

Descriptions of the unidentified figure paint him as a muscular man wearing an owl mask, that exposes a “well-groomed beard” and a winged-like cape. Witnesses say that he fended off attackers, with what seemed as a form of martial arts.

The victim, who wanted to remain anonymous, said: ” One of the guys must have been, like,  6 foot 3 and the owl guy just kicked him to the ground, he must have knocked the wind right out of him.”

“Then he grabbed one of the others and swung him into the other one, and pushed them both into the wall. They were both screaming in pain.”

One of The Tribune’s top sketch artists went to meet with the victim earlier today to see if she could give a description of the man in the mask, below is her description of the man.

A “Who is Owl Man” facebook page has already started and has gained over 1,000 “likes” in less than an hour, since then others have told similar stories about the masked man and how he has saved their lives in late-night encounters at FAU.

The other said: “He gave me back my bag, and told me something along the lines of: ‘Make sure this doesn’t happen again’.”

From our research we can assume he is indeed an FAU student, since his heroic gestures have been exclusively at the FAU Boca campus.

Have you seen Owl Man? What has he done for you? Is he a friend of foe?

This is a developing story and we will continue with updates on any new information as it becomes available.
