  • Congratulations to Austin Haynie, Son of Linda Gove, for completing his first-ever solo flight as a ranger. Austin, alone and unassisted, took off in a T-6B Texan II and flew into the Nevada sky and returned to Laughlin-Bullhead International Airport, successfully completing his first solo flight of his Naval Aviator career! Congratulations Austin!
  • Good luck to Ian Hest, formerly from ESPN West Palm on his new adventures. Hest parted from ESPN on Wednesday after fulfilling his life-long dream. Good luck in the future Ian!
  • One year ago Yaacov Heller’s Garden of Humanity, declaring the 100th-anniversary commemoration of the beginning of the systematic murder of 3 out of every four Armenians, located at Royal Palm Place was revealed.
  • Celebrity guests Vanilla Ice and Bo Derek made the last polo match of the season at the International Polo Club Palm Beach in Wellington a great event. Boca Raton residents who usually make the trip up to the Polo Club on Sundays to watch some great games, will now have to wait until the start of the new season.
  • Kristy Whelchel Hartofilis, daughter of former Mayor Susan Whelchel, received the keys of the city from Mayor Susan Haynie alongside Palm Beach County Commissioner Steven Abrams. Kristy was recently named to the Palm Beach County Hall of Fame for her illustrious soccer career. Congratulations Kristy!
