Whispering Pines Elementary on lockdown in West Boca

The code yellow at Whispering Pines Elementary has been lifted and all activities have resumed.

Whispering Pines Elementary School in West Boca was placed on lockdown Thursday morning due to police activity in the area. According to this tweet, all students are safe. The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.

As of now, the school is still under Code Yellow, and according to the Palm Beach School District twitter feed, a call is being sent out to parents.
