Marleen Forkas’s Birthday Celebration

On Saturday evening my husband, Bob and I attended Marleen Forkas’s birthday celebration on the FAU Campus, Harold and Marleen Forkas Bldg. About 100 or so of Marleen’s closest friends gathered to celebrate her special number birthday. A tent was set up for the cocktail reception followed by a sit down dinner in the beautiful dining room of the building. A D.J. played dance music all evening. After dinner a huge birthday cake rolled in and Marleen, the wearer of many hats besides me, made the grand entrance in a happy birthday hat with candles. We danced, we ate and we sang Happy Birthday to this special lady who is so involved in our Boca Community. Happy Birthday and many more dear friend. All in all a classy and elegant fun evening.
