Motivational Speaker, Nick Vujicic to Fill FAU Stadium With Hope on Saturday

Currently on his Life Without Limits tour, motivational speaker, Nick Vujicic, will be at FAU Stadium on Saturday, November 7 where he hopes to spread his message about finding a purpose in life, battling depression, dealing with bullying and living in faith.

The 32-year-old inspirational speaker is bringing his powerful story to FAU where he will be part of the Stand Strong Florida 2015 event. The Elliot Band, a modern-rock band, will bring their energetic, modern, and worshipful sound to the event as well.

Vujicic has teamed up with Boca Raton resident Roy Moore, who is president of Stand Strong USA, to end bullying in schools across America and bring awareness to depression and other issues hurting youth today. Vujicic’s speeches will be simulcast for free on Standstrongflorida.com.

The Australian native was born with Tetra-amelia syndrome — a congenital disorder that causes the absence of limbs. As a child, he faced bullying for years, and the continuous harassment and feeling of being a burden led him to attempt suicide by drowning at 10 years old.

However, Vujicic got out of the bathtub and began focusing more on what he had than what he didn’t have.

At 19, Vujicic began speaking in public about the trials of his life, he eventually continued his work and became an author, musician, actor and YouTube sensation with nearly 70,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel.

Vujicic will speak at FAU Stadium, 777 Glades Road, Boca Raton, at 7 p.m. Nov. 7. The event is free and open to everyone. For more information, visit Lifewithoutlimbs.org.
