ALDI Comes to West Boca

ALDI, the nation’s leading low-price grocer is opening a new location in West Boca Raton this fall.

On Saturday, July 25, from 7am-2pm, there was a hiring event for aspiring employees.

“Our hiring events are designed to find the best possible employees to serve our customers,”  said Chris Hewitt, ALDI Vice President, Royal Palm Beach Division, about the purpose of the hiring event

According to Hewitt, ALDI met with over 250 applicants. “Our hiring events are well attended because ALDI maintains a long track record as an employer of choice, offering generous wages and benefits that are higher than the national average for the retail industry.”

The new store will bring 15+ jobs to Boca Raton and Deerfield Beach. Requirements for employees looking to be hired include:

  • Must be at least 18 years-old.
  • Must have received a high-school Diploma or GED
  • Must be available from 6am-11pm from Monday through Sunday.
  • Must be able to lift at least 45 pounds.

ALDI is known for its high quality grocery options and affordable prices. All products have a double guarantee, promising customers that they get the quality groceries.

According to ALDI’s website, switching from national brands can save 50% on more than 1300 commonly purchased grocery items.

ALDI offers wages and benefits higher than the national average for the retail industry. Employees with 25+ hours per week are eligible for full health insurance benefits and dental coverage.

Furthermore, all ALDI employees are invited to participate in the 401(k) program.
