Busy night in Boca yields multiple arrests

In a one-hour timeframe Thursday evening, officers with the Boca Raton Police Services Department netted four suspects who were arrested for multiple charges, including armed robbery and burglary.

Shortly before 8:00 pm, officers responded to 21170 St. Andrews Blvd, for reports of an armed robbery.  When they arrived on scene, they met with the two female victims who said they were standing in front of First Watch talking when they were approached by the suspect armed with a knife.  The suspect demanded the women turn over their purses, while he grabbed one bag. That’s when both females began screaming.  The suspect, who took off running, was quickly located by a Boca Raton Police officer hiding behind a building a short distance away.  George Kadera was charged with Armed Robbery and Aggravated Assault.

Just before 8:30 pm, officers responded to 298 NE 23rd Street after a resident, who was walking his dog, saw a SUV backed into his neighbor’s driveway.  After passing the house, he decided to return to investigate. The witness heard the sound of glass breaking and quickly returned home to call 911.  Responding officers saw two males walking away from the front door of the house.  Anthony Dixon and Harold Fabre were both arrested and charged with Burglary, Criminal Mischief and Obstructing an Officer.

Thirty minutes later, the Boca Raton Public Safety Communications Center received word that officers from Delray Beach were following a stolen car that entered Boca Raton. Officers from Delray Beach said the driver lost control of the car and fled on foot around 300 East Yamato.  With assistance from a Delray Beach K-9 team, the suspect was found inside the Advent Lutheran School.  Besides facing charges in Delray Beach, Lyndsey Kennedy was charged by Boca Raton Police with Burglary to a Structure.
