Pope John Paul loses to Calvary Christian in Playoffs

Calvary Christian defeated Pope John Paul II 3-2 in the Girl’s Volleyball playoffs. Calvary won the first two mathces 25-22 and 25-19, but Pope would storm back to tie and send the game into a 5th match. Seniors Meaghan Donahue and Amanda Gius would both combine for 49 kills and 33 digs, but it would not be enough. Calvary Christian would defeat Pope John Paul 15-12 in the final match. It was a great season for the Lady Eagles and fought hard all year. They have a lot to look forward to next year.
