Top Selling Items from Trader Joe’s
With the opening of a Trader Joe’s in Boca coming closer (September 26th, to be exact), we figured that you may need a little help on deciding what to buy from it. And that’s understandable–a lot of the items in this store isn’t what you’d find in another grocery chain. Luckily, the Trader Joe’s website has provided a list of the best selling items of 2013 to make filling up your shopping cart easier.
1. Triple Ginger Snaps
A bucket full of delicious cookies. Like the title implies, thereare three different types of ginger mixed in to make these.
2. Speculoos Cookie Butter
It’s basically what it says on the tin. Creamy like peanut butter, the taste will make you think of cookies.
3. Joe Joe’s Cookies (All Varieties)
They will remind you of Oreos except they are slightly healthier than Oreos.
4. Reduced Guilt Chunky Guacamole
Like the above item, this guacamole is supposedly healthier than your normal kind. It has less fat and less calories, but it’s still delicious.
5. Charles Shaw Wine (All Varieties)
Wine that’s less than $3 isn’t anything gourmet, but some of the types are extremely good.
6. Mac ‘n Cheese
It’s the frozen kind that you’ll have to heat up, but it lacks that weird microwaveable food taste. It has four different types of cheeses.
7. Almond Butter (All Varieties)
It’s salty and watery, so if you’re not a fan of the more liquid butters then this one may not be for you.
8. Chili Lime Chicken Burgers
It’s not very spicy despite the ‘chili’ in the title, but these burgers will make a great lunch for any chicken lover.
9. Pound Plus Chocolate Bar (Milk & Dark)
You can probably cause some damage if you hit someone in the head with this. You can also buy it in a much tinier size.
10. Almond Cocoa Spread
It’s Nutella.
11. Rosemary Marcona Almonds
These almonds have been gaining popularity lately. They’re mixed with rosemary to give it a more prominent flavor.
12. Corn & Chili Pepper Salsars
Replacing the usual tomato with corn, this salsa will offer an interesting taste to whatever you decide to dip into it.
13. Dark Chocolate Covered Caramels
Very rich and sweet, this is another item where the name is all you basically need to know about it.
14. Chocolate Orange Sticks
It’s oranges covered in chocolate in a wonderful combination that completely negates all the health benefits of the fruit.
15. Pesto Gouda
Originally introduced as a St. Patrick’s Day treat, the response to this green cheese was so overwhelming that the store decided to keep it year long.
16. Mandarin Orange Chicken
This is another frozen dinner, but like the mac and cheese, it tastes surprisingly like an actually cooked meal once heated up.
17. Reduced Guilt Spinach & Kale Greek Yogurt Dip
Like the guacamole above, this is also an alternate and healthier choice to your other spinach & kale dips. It uniquely has yogurt mixed in that adds an unusual flavor.
