Significant Progress made in Seeking Violent Sexual Offender

Detectives have made significant progress in these investigations however more investigative work needs to be done.  At the conclusion of this additional investigative work PBSO will host a news conference.

In the meantime, IF ANYONE has information about this Violent Sexual Offender they are urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-458-TIPS.

 

On April 9, 2009, in the area of Old Dixie Highway in Jupiter a 21 year old, w/f, who was walking at night in her neighborhood was  violently sexually battered, beaten and bitten by her attacker.

On July 24, 2009, in Palm Springs, a 26 year old, w/f, was attacked in the early morning hours inside her home and sexually battered. (PBSO has adopted this case)

On August 8, 2009, in the area of Forest Hill Blvd. and N Military Trail, a 53 year old w/f, was sitting outside her residence in the late evening hours and was violently sexually battered, beaten and bitten by her attacker.

On January 16, 2010, a 58 year old female was attacked in the area of Lake Worth Road and Congress Avenue, while walking to work in the early morning hours.  She was violently beaten and sexually battered.

On September 23, 2011, a 22 year old female was attacked in the 2500 block of 10th Avenue North, which is just east of the Esperanza Apartments.  She was sexually battered and bitten by her attacker.

** All attacks are believed to have been committed by the same person. 

 

 

Case 1: Jupiter Police Department case # 09-14283

Date:  Thursday, April 9, 2009 at approximately 12:30 am.

Crime occurred near 2nd Street, Jupiter along Old Dixie Highway.

Victim was walking alone at night though an industrial area along Old Dixie Hwy.

Suspect approached the victim from behind and immediately used violence to gain compliance.

Victim described suspect as a Hispanic male, 5’6” to 5’8” in height.

 

Case 2: Village of Palm Springs- Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office case #11-085469

Date: Friday, July 24, 2009 at approximately 3:30 am.

Crime occurred near S. Congress Ave and 10th Avenue N., Palm Springs.

Victim was in her home with other relatives sleeping in the residence.

Suspect entered the residence and was armed with an unknown edged weapon.

Victim described the suspect as a Hispanic male with an accent, possibly from Central America.

He is described as short in stature and was wearing a black shirt and shorts (possibly basketball or soccer shorts).

 

Case 3: Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office case #09-115003

Date: Friday/Saturday, between 11:30 pm August 7, 2009 and 12:30 am August 8, 2009.

Crime occurred near Forest Hill Blvd and South Military Trail, West Palm Beach.

Victim was sitting on the front porch of her residence late at night.  Suspect used violence to gain compliance.

Victim describes the suspect as an African-American male 5’7”, 160 – 180lbs., muscular build, short dark hair, 20’s or 30’s with a  possible Spanish accent, wearing baggie blue jeans and a long sleeve button down, black and red checkered shirt.

Suspect took two rings off of the victim’s fingers.

 

Case 4: Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office case # 10-026899

Date: Saturday, January 16, 2010 before 8:30 am.

Crime occurred near 2887 Lake Worth Road, Lake Worth, FL

Suspect used violence to gain compliance.  Victim was located in the bushes near the roadway.

Victim is walking early morning hours along Lake Worth Rd. headed to work.

Victim described the suspect as short 5’2”, thin, strong build, short dark hair, medium skin tone, Spanish accent, wearing a black and white horizontal striped shirt with a black collar.

  • ·      Suspect may have sold or given away the rings taken from one of the victims.

Ring descriptions:

1.    A gold grandmother-style ring with 5 birthstones in a cluster (possibly red, yellow, dark blue, light blue and pink stones).

2.    Man’s gold band with 6 to 7 tiny diamond chips.

 

CASE 5:  Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office case #11-124952

Date:  September 23, 2011 at approximately 6:30 am.

Crime occurred at the 2500 block of 10th Avenue North, which is just east of the Esperanza Apartments.

Victim is a 22 year old female, very physically fit.

PBSO victim 3 is walking on the south side of 10th Avenue North heading east.   She is wearing her I-Pod and “speed walking”. The suspect began to follow the victim in front of the Esperanza Apartments.    He pulls his shirt over his head and attacks her from behind.    The suspect takes the victim into bushes located approximately six feet from the sidewalk.    They fight for several minutes.   The suspect bites the victim twice in the face after she bites one of his index fingers.   These bites do not break the skin, but do leave and impression.    The suspect then holds the victim down with his arm across her throat and his hand is over her mouth.   The victim lost consciousness at this point.

The victim wakes up with her pants off and purse missing.

The suspect described by victim:   5’05” to 5’06”, “pudgy”, shoulder length dark hair, Spanish accent.   Victim stated she felt an earring in one of his ears, wearing blue jeans and white shirt.
