Business Casual Takes on New Meaning With Innovative Women’s Networking Group

BOCA RATON, FL… Dynamic. Innovative. Engaging.

The Business and Professional Division of the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County has redefined the term business casual. Adding fun, purpose and value to the phrase, they have created Business Casual – a series of innovative, casual, activity-based networking opportunities exclusively for women looking to build their professional and community alliances.

On January 13, 2014, Business Casual offers an opportunity for women to expand culinary talents while enhancing professional contacts, with a night of Sushi and Sake 101 at Asia 1600 Camino Real Boulevard, Boca Raton.  Cost is $36. The evening includes sushi, sake, wine and hors d’oeuvres, with an interactive lesson in the art of creating sushi rolls taught by a professional sushi chef. Business Casual is open to all Jewish business and professional women interested in making connections and having fun.

Consider this a Girls Night Out with a greater purpose. While building their professional relationships, these dynamic women are strengthening their community as well. Already creating a buzz in the community, Business Casual chairs Tracy Kawa and Stephanie Midler are energized by the enthusiastic response and unlimited opportunities ahead.

According to co-chair Tracy Kawa, “Forging new bonds in business was never so much fun. Business Casual combines the best of all worlds. What a wonderful opportunity for women in the Jewish community to form strategic alliances while having a great time.”

Business Casual encourages its members to leave the formalities of work back at the office and enjoy engaging, inventive, enjoyable experiences while building new professional, personal, and community alliances. It’s a natural extension of the Federation’s Business and Professional Division (B&P) that brings together entrepreneurs and professionals from a wide variety of fields for premium networking, learning and helping the community.

Business Casual co-chair Stephanie Midler sums the experience up, “Business Casual provides unique and engaging ways for Jewish women to create new relationships professionally, communitywide, and personally. I am thrilled to be part of this dynamic group and look forward to each enjoyable networking opportunity.”

Join this casual approach to business, bonding and building community. RSVP is required to attend Sushi & Sake 101 and learn the Fundamentals of Sushi Rolling While Networking on Monday, January 13, 2014 at Asia. Cost is $36 per person and includes sushi, sake, wine and hors d’oeuvres. Dietary Laws Observed. A minimum gift of $180 to the 2014 UJA/Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County Annual Campaign is required when you attend a second program in the series. Couvert is additional.
