Rain can’t wash away PAW-ty for pets benefit for Tri County Humane Society,

BOCA RATON – It was a rainy afternoon Aug. 12, but the Shoppes at Village Pointe managed to pull off its PAW-ty for pets, a Boca Festival Days event designed to benefit Tri County Humane Society.

The event brought together dancers, live bands, artists, vendors, food samples, gourmet food trucks, bounce houses and dunk houses. Pets were also there for adoption, and a Happy Dog contest was held.

A portion of all proceeds from the vendors went to the Tri County Humane Society, a no-kill shelter on Boca Rio Road in Boca Raton.
